Daily sudoku

One grid for the whole world.

The daily is a single sudoku. It is not a pack of puzzles, and it is not a new grid for each country. The day opens, the digits are set, and that is the puzzle people share.

Same clues, everywhere

Two people in different places are looking at the same givens. Your country matters on the leaderboard, where finish times from this grid are grouped. It does not change the clues in front of you.

How to play is ordinary sudoku: each digit once in every row, column, and box. There is no extra rule hiding in the daily.

What only the daily counts for

The daily is the grid that prints that day's slip. It is the grid the country board times. It is the grid that earns XP when you finish inside a time band. A faster band is worth more XP, and XP moves a level. The level is yours. The board is the order of finish times.

Practice puzzles stay beside it. They are a stock of grids in the app. Finishing one leaves the daily, the slip, and the country board untouched.

Not on this page

This site does not serve the daily. There is no playable grid here. The sample slip on the home page is marked sample, and it is not today's line. When the puzzle is ready, the note to the list is one email. The slip is not in that note.
