How to play
Ordinary sudoku, then one line.
Plino does not add a second rulebook. A day opens with one grid, and the people who play that day all receive that same grid.
The rules
Fill every empty cell with a digit from 1 to 9. Each digit may appear once in a row, once in a column, and once in a 3×3 box. A wrong digit is only a wrong digit. The puzzle does not become a different game because the clock is running.
- One shared grid for the day.
- Each number once in every row, column, and box.
- A complete, correct grid is the finish.
What the finish is for
When the grid is complete, a slip prints one sentence. That sentence closes the day. It is not another puzzle sitting under the numbers.
Finishing inside a time band is how the app gives XP and moves a level. The band is about when you finished. It does not change the sudoku. The country leaderboard is a separate list: the fastest finish of this same grid, grouped by country.
Practice is a different stack
The app keeps stock practice puzzles for learning the grid. Those puzzles are not today's daily. They do not print the day's slip, and they do not take a place on the country board.
Today's grid is not playable on this page. The board on the home page is a preview that fills itself in, so you can see the shape of a finished grid.
